History
The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME) of the College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology (CEAT) was established on March 25, 2021.
The institution of the department is consistent and cogent with the University’s mission to respond effectively to national and global issues by advancing access of education, quality instruction, innovation, and civic engagement.
As the youngest unit of the college, the department is hard at work to achieve its vision of becoming one of the country’s premier institutions on Mechanical Engineering education, research, and extension.
